Well recently I've been playing Kara no Shoujo, and let me tell you, those bad ends are pretty...uh whoa. I've died three times so far.
Still I'm liking this game so far, the only problem I see is a slight disconnect between the words and visuals. The game will say stuff like "This book has a very detailed front cover" but then the art shows a book with just a blank black and white cover. Maybe it's the translation, or maybe there was a communication error.
But even with a slightly spotty translation I'm liking the story and the characters so far. As I right this I've just passed the intermission point, so hopefully it doesn't start to get really bad.
Oh and as a side note, the death scenes are wonderfully and terrifyingly written.
Not going to score this as I haven't finished it yet, so look for a fallow up review sometime in the (not so) near future!

JoJo PART 1
Lately I've wanted to mix The Beatles song "Get Back" with Jojo |
I was actually pretty surprised, there are a lot of people who aren't that found of Part 1, which I can understand. The art in the very beginning can be laughable, and not in the good way. Some of it is just grotesquely off anatomy wise, but around the latter chapters Jojo settles in to it's own unique style.
But Jojo is fun as HELL to read. It has this pulpy western feel to it, that fits the absurdity of the art and the story well. Part 1 starts off pretty slow but once it gets going it stays pretty exciting.
Favorite part of this arc overall- The last fight with Dio and Jojo, if you haven't read it I won't spoil it. BUT WOW that guy can not stay dead.
So I'm going to try something a little different and score Part 1. That way if my short paragraph is too long you can just skip it
Art: 2/5 (the anatomy in the early chapters is just... guh)
Story: 3/5 (the story starts pretty slow, and is pretty straight forward for the most part, not many twists)
Translation: 3/5 (readable, only a few oddly worded lines stick out, some font choices weren't the best)
Enjoyment: 4/5 (fun to read, very different from other manga)
So yeah, maybe I'll do more of this 'scoring', maybe I won't. But I will be reading the rest of Jojo, and hopefully I'll remember to post about it on here.

Let's go, KAMEN RIDERS!
So I spent last night staying up watching Kamen Rider OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Rider. DAMN is that title long. Even as someone fairly new to Kamen Rider (only watched OOOs, Shin, and Double) I enjoyed it. Seeing the Showa era Riders was great, and the last forty minutes or so is just one big cheesy battle, which is one of the thing Kamen Rider lives off of.
It does have it's flaws. There are a few minor plot inconsistencies, mainly because of how this movie fits into OOO's continuity (it doesn't at all). And the movie takes sometime to really get going, but in my opinion it's worth it.
Luckily for people who haven't watched that many Kamen Rider shows (like me) the movie still makes sense even if you've only watched a single series. Overall it's really fun to watch, and that's what really matters.
The film did very well when it was first released, and Kamen Rider fans seem to love it. So give it a watch if you're into big cheesy toku.

Please note Shin in the background, WHERE HE BELONGS |
